7 unusual propeller-driven vehicles
Emerging technology has always fascinated me. When something new comes along, people try to apply this new technology to their own field of interest. Sometimes, this leads to great inventions, other times, well, not so much with the greatness.
Here’s some vehicles that were propelled by propellers. They figure if it’s good enough for airplanes, it’s also good for bikes, trains, and yes, automobiles. Mostly the whole prop idea is overkill, ineffecient, and mighty noisy, but hey, you don’t know till you try it out. This is a cool bit of history.
