The Apple Project... a glimpse into the creative process.

| Here's some anaglyphs that were generated to check the alignment of the two images, as well as to spot any potential problems with the materials, the camera spacing, as well to to check the "wow!" factor. |
In order to make any sense of these images, you'll need a
pair of red blue glasses. |

This is an anaglyph of one of the test images, and the background proved to be extremely distracting. |

One of the early test images- the blue thing in the "center" was actually a volumetric cloud material, and for some reason, it turned all funky in the anaglyph, and it was rejected as a possible candidate. |

This one has a volumetric cloud material on a couple of stacked tori, and it looked pretty cool, but I wasn't happy with it at all. |

This is another version with further separation of the two "eyes", but the stars did some weird things to the viewers eyes. |

Another test render- I never did find out how this one looks in stereo. |
![]() |
This one I'll have to go back to and play with it further- I like the feel of it, but the "bands" proved troublesome. |

The same image as a color anaglyph. I'm not sure how it looks at all with the funny looking glasses on. |

This is an image I did as a promotional piece for the company developing the StereoJet printer, San Francisco Imaging Services. I never did find out if the finished print turned out as cool as I think it might have. |

This one had problems- come to find out, this technology has problems with "thin" things, and the "wire frame" was too skinny and it caused "ghosting". Since this is a brand new technology, there were some things that cropped up that no one expected until it was tried out. |
![]() |
This is another version, and as you can see, the "wires" are a little thicker- also you can see that the red and blue that appears is right next to each other, which I believe means that the two eyes were spaced well. |
